Domestic Engineer

An article in a newspaper talks about a website that has featured the newest replacements for the words ugly, handicapped and housewife. The new replacements are visually challenging for ugly, handicapable for physically impaired and domestic engineer for housewife. Doesn’t domestic engineer sound somewhat weird and seem to be inspired by the software industry??
